The Breakwater, Hillarys has recently undergone an extravagant facelift thanks to Brian Ho – one of Perth’s most sought-after interior designers – and with it, introduced WA’s first dedicated Shuffle room. Shufflin sign

If you haven’t heard of Shuffle by now, we have one question – have you been living under a rock?! A dedicated Shuffle room of this scale is the first of its kind in Western Australia and taking the state by storm (it’s literally the best thing to do in this weather), Shuffle is THE game for everyone, and has been extremely popular since it launched in May.Games lounge neon sign

Sexy enough for a date night, classy enough for a corporate soiree and competitive enough for that long overdue mates catch up – everyone’s a winner when it comes to a few games of Shuffle at The Breakwater. Imported from Europe, these hand crafted boards elevate the lesiure-tianment game like never before – because heading to bars just for a drink is so 2020! You’ll want to round up the creme de la creme of your crew for this one, as the stakes are high on the Shuffle tables. A group of people playing shuffle

Rules of the game:

Split into two teams – pick the best 4 to join you because this is one game you don’t want to lose. The rules are simple; red versus blue, both teams take turns shooting towards the same end, the team that shoots their pucks the furthest without going over the edge,  takes the points, first to 15 wins bragging rights (the ultimate prize).

Sitting pretty on the crystal clear water at Hillarys Boat Harbour, The Breakwater is an iconic institution  known for being THE hot spot in the North for boozy brunches, special occasions, fine dining experiences and – if you’re there on the right night – a very fun dancefloor. And now, THE place in WA to Shuffle!

The Breakwater are taking bookings for this highly addictive game, but you’ll want to get on it quickly as spots fill up fast. Get in the know about this fabulous addition to the Perth scene here.
