If you’re feeling a Lil bit groovy for some boogie at night ‘til late, Toots got ya’ covered with some sassy, sexy, and a Lil bit mischievous throwback to ‘70s fun and nightlife experience. So, grab those dancing shoes and that sparkly sequined dungaree jacket, and head on starting the 22nd of April and every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night ⸺ to where you say? Well, that’s for you to find out!
All that we can say is that this new secret bar is WITHIN a secret bar hiding in plain sight in Northbridge. Once you successfully cracked the code and hit the mark, just say the magic word “Is Toots in?” and you’ll receive a golden ticket to the secret door immediately transporting you to the iconic ‘70s glam.
The drinks menu across the bar will also be joining your timewarp travel as the ‘70s finest cocktail pours through the night for a complete and spinning package of ‘70s disco extravaganza. Expect old-school tips of Fruit Tingle, Midori Illusion Shaker, Blue Hawaiian, White Russian, and retro short pours such as Buttery Nipple – butterscotch, baileys, grenadine, or the B52 Kahlua, baileys, and Cointreau to get the party started and spin you through the night while jiving on the dancefloor.
For shared drinks with the good ole’ gang, the super-sized West Coast Cooler Super Spritz will be flowing grandiosely with Pampelle, passionfruit, grapefruit, and a splash of pineapple sitting atop the upturned bottle of the said signature sip. This will be a perfect and divine partner for some retro Italian nibbles featuring Bocadillo de Chorizo and Tuna Crudo paired with tangy capers, fresh dill, celery, citrus, and caviar.
The party begins after the meals, so you will surely be sharp and vigorous to hit the dancefloor and claim it as the grand disco queen and king as you dance to the best tunes of Gloria Gaynor, Diana Ross, and Grace Jones. Madonna, Kylie, and the music of Cher will also be adding to the funky flavor of the night, so you’ll surely be still swaying your hips whether it’s some ‘70s classic you like or some fashionable modern updates.
