Raine Square’s Gratitude Gallery

Raine Square is breaking stigma around homelessness with their ‘Gratitude Gallery’

Gratitude Gallery is a unique street art exhibition featuring five local artists who have experienced homelessness in Perth at some point in their lives. The exhibition seeks to raise awareness on societal issues and challenges of homelessness in Perth, whilst also encouraging understanding and compassion for those experiencing hardship around us.

Gratitude Gallery aims to create a platform to support and to celebrate passion without prejudice. Art enthusiasts and passersby will find QR Codes placed around the Raine Square precinct and beside each painting at Gratitude Gallery, directing to a biography about the artist and the story behind their piece. With every scan of the QR codes, Raine Square will donate $1 to Uniting WA who work to support people experiencing complex challenges throughout Western Australia and provides services including children, family and foster care services, NDIS disability, advocacy and mental health services, as well as financial wellbeing, homelessness and housing support.
