Raine Square is thrilled to support the PrideFest Film Festival once more in 2021.
From 17 – 26 November, Raine Square will become the epitome of theatre, music and art in a celebration of self expression, uncompromising imagination and culture.
The film festival will be showcasing nine LGBQTI+ celebrated films across ten days. Notable films include the new release Swan Song, Tom of Finland and the ever iconic The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Tickets are available for pre-film experiences including live music, fabulous entertainment, canapes and a drink on arrival all included in the $30 ticket price. Get yours here.
To give the film festival the shimmer and sparkle it deserves, the closing night screening of Priscilla Queen of the Desert will be an immersive and interactive experience. Featuring an Australian stage adaption’s cast with local queen, Cougar Morrison, you will be dazzled by the shadow cast’s live performances during the film.
Raine Square will transform with a glittering stage brightening the food court and hosting live entertainment during lunchtimes from local LGBTQI+ performers. They will also be showcasing an art exhibition on the centre’s ground level that features unique pieces and ‘behind the artist’ stories from local LGBTQI+ artists.
