Port to Pub – a swim from Fremantle to Rottnest in Western Australia
The Channel 7 Port to Pub swim with Hotel Rottnest is an open water swimming event in Perth, Western Australia. There are two races on 19 March 2022 over two distances from Leighton Beach in Fremantle to beautiful Rottnest Island. The direct crossing (19.7km) open to solos, duos, and teams of four and six, and a 25km solo ultra-marathon swim. The 25km ultra-marathon swim is the longest open water swim on offer in Australia and is one of the longest in the Southern Hemisphere.
If you’re feeling like jumping in the water you can register via the website, www.porttopub.com.au. Otherwise spectators are welcomed to send off the swimmers so head down to the Fremantle Surf Life Saving Club, Leighton Beach from 5.30am – 7.15am.
