Sam McGovern – Mojo’s Fremantle

After multiple sold out shows across WA, Sam McGovern, a 22 year old Perth based Singer Songwriter has established himself as one of Western Australia’s most well loved solo artists. He returns home for his first headline show since his appearance on “The Voice” Australia, Season 11.

After turning 2 chairs & gaining praise from all judges from his blind audition performance of “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” by U2, Sam is releasing his highly anticipated full length version of the song.

Sam is celebrating the release live at Mojo’s Bar Fremantle on August 14th.

Sam, a WAM nominated singer songwriter & surfer, spends most of his time on the road travelling around the coast, Sam derives experiences from those moments and en-captures these songs. He approaches songwriting as a way of expressing feelings that come unspoken in his life, when words fail, music speaks. His stories are told through heartfelt and honest lyrics that unravel a deeper meaning.

Joining him are interstate artists “ASHA” & “Taylor Piggott” who both appeared on this year’s season of “The Voice”, these 2 phenomenal performers are making their Debut performance in Perth at this show.
