Easter Long Weekend Fun


THURSDAY 1st APRIL

The Presets | Metro City

Titans of Australian electronic music, The Presets formed when Julian and Kim met in classical music school back in 1995. There’s no doubt this iconic Aussie duo know how to put on a show and this Thursday they’re heading to Metro City for an epic live performance, continuing an epic string of Factory Summer Festival shows. If you can’t get to the Thursday show, they’ll be taking the stage for a second time on Saturday at Metro City. 

Block Party Easter Weekender

Block Party are taking over all 3 levels of The Rechabite this Sunday, a place to really kick off the long weekend festivities. Expect everything you know and love from Block Party with some added surprises. If you can’t party Thursday then head south on Sunday as they take over 4 venues and spaces across Freo for an epic long weekend party. 

Nevermind Smallclub Good Friday Eve

If you’re keen to kick off the long weekend with a bang, everyone’s favourite open-air courtyard and club is opening their doors for a little long weekend warm up this Thursday evening. Entry is free and good vibes are always necessary. 

FRIDAY 2nd APRIL 

Si Paradiso 4 Day Celebration 

Get down to Si Paradiso anytime from Thursday ‘til Sunday, as they prepare for four days of food, wine and music. Gather your mates and relax in the courtyard over drinks and eats, soundtracked by fun Summer sounds. 

Bali Fest | Mandurah Foreshore

If you’re like the other 99.9% of the WA population missing Bali at the moment, head south to Mandurah this Friday to celebrate our state’s beloved holiday destination. With 3 different areas including Bali Fest Central, Bali Chill Zone and Bali Market, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to knock back a few Bintangs and pretend you’re in Bali for the evening.

SATURDAY 3rd APRIL

Westend Festival | Freo.Social

Westend Festival kicks off their very first event this weekend at Freo.Social, featuring a curated line up of 7 of WA’s best local bands. Get down from 5pm to catch Dear Sunday, Old Mervs, The Washing Line Economy, Pretty Ugly’s, Cloud Local, Residents Club and Sugar Wood live on stage. 

The Night Market Easter Edition | Market Grounds

This Saturday, Perth’s favourite weekly Saturday digs are really getting into the Easter spirit. You can expect all the usual Night Market antics including free entry, cocktail specials, a huge beer garden, sunken booths throughout and dancing under the neon light all night, PLUS some Easter surprises. 

Ministry of Sound Classics | The Court

Ignite your memory this Saturday, the perfect opportunity to remember the dance music you fell in love with. Ministry of Sound OG’s will be bringing you the very best clubbing tunes from the golden era of dance music. Doors from 4pm. 

Elizabeth Quay Fun Fair

Venture to Elizabeth Quay, where the city meets the Swan River for a weekend of fun for the entire family. Celebrating the very best family fun with carnival rides, show bags, sideshow games and much more, the funfair kicks off Saturday and wraps up Wednesday 7th April so you’ve got plenty of time to get down and check it out. 

SUNDAY 4th APRIL

MVMNT 6th Birthday Ft. K.I.M | Nevermind Smallclub

Perth’s favourite Sunday party is turning 6 this weekend and there’s no better way to celebrate than with a long weekend celebration, featuring a very special guest. K.I.M – one half of the Presets. K.I.M will be behind the decks along with a few local tune selectors, providing the very best house and good vibrations to keep you dancing ‘til your feet hurt. 

Rushmore Easter Weekender | Market Grounds

The team behind Rushmore are taking over Perth’s inner city oasis for a long weekend party throughout the entire venue and huge beer garden. Celebrate Easter Sunday dancing at the outdoor mainstage and sipping on themed drinks from 4pm. 

Unbound Easter Sunday | Freo. Social

After their sold-out Boxing Day gig, Unbound is back to serve up yet another epic long weekend celebration. Grab a bevvie in the huge beer garden or head to the dance hall and have a boogie as DJ’s play a mix of funk, disco, house and tech. 

Stripes Easter Disco | Henry Summer

There’s nothing quite like visiting boogie town on Easter Sunday. Dig out your best, shiniest self, dress up in your 70’s inspired kit and head to the lush surrounds of Henry Summer Bar to heat up the dance floor and boogie down from 6 pm ‘til 12am.
