Boxing Day: What Went On

It is now the day after Christmas. And while you may have already “unboxed” the gifts under the tree, the gifts don’t have to end pouring from there. And for our version of gifts this Boxing Day, we mean non-stop fun and a vibrant night packed with music and swaying hips on the dance floor. So, in this list, we will be sharing with you the hit parties that lit the good ol’ Boxing Day.

One More Time: Boxing Day |The Court | The Court Hotel, WA

After its huge Sell-Out, The Court was back “One More Time” for another hit party rocking the night with what seems to be the same crew, the same tunes, but definitely a new hot dance floor to beat and own.

Partnering with Breakfest, Boomtick Events, and Ambar Nightclub, The Court surely delivered pop-filled music for the mates to danced with ‘till sweat live with the best of Ekko & Sidetrack, Greg Packer, and Micah vs Philly Blunt. The said artists were also joined by the selections of Bezwun, Pussymittens, Semantics, Yattaman, Mike De Wet, and Invoker among others.

Kid Kenobi wasn’t able to grace the lineup because of the border restrictions, but the night was still saved by Beatslappaz smashing the crowd with some thumping breakbeat addition.

Unbound Boxing Day Bash |Unbound | Freo.Social | Parry Street, Fremantle, WA, Australia 6160

Loose Times, Good Vibes, and Groovy Tunes.

Summer is here, and for Unbound, there’s no better way to spend boxing day than at Freo. Featuring multiple bars and stages and some of the best sound and lighting in Perth, Unbound brought the usual upbeat party vibes starting with a late arvo drink soaking up the sun extended to an all-out boogie night. Some chic beats and tunes were served steaming hot all day long across the famous tropical disco garden and straight to the house and tech boiler room.

Tapping on the dance floor in tine with the groovy music, the guests sure do enjoy the flavor of the finest brews on tap available courtesy of the Otherside Brew Co.

Temporary Levels | The Rechabite | 224 William Street Perth, WA, Australia, 6000

https://www.facebook.com/TheRechabite

One level at the open-air rooftop, one at the wide main hall, and one down under the basement club — that’s Temporary Levels for you elevating music and dance kind of experience to a whole new and multiple “levels.”

For the second time around, The Rechabite swept everyone on a sonic and vintage journey at the famous ruins of the heritage hall in the heart of Perth. Joined with not just one, not just two or five, not even 10, but 20 music artists, the night sure is made “historic” and of multiple levels.

Boxing Day: Silent Disco | The Lookout Scarbs | 148 The Esplanade Scarborough, WA, Australia 6019

A disco without music? Not quite. A Silent Disco is a silent rave listened to on wireless headphones, so partying all night in full-blast music is still on.

This Boxing Day, The Lookout once again ushered a great mix of bowling, bites, and bar as it led the Boxing Day with Bottomless Bowling Brunch and Buckets. The DJs also spun some fine beats further firing the dance floor to shush down.
