Best places to watch the Footy Grand Final


For those of us that missed out on getting footy Grand final tickets, here’s our list of the next best places to be!

 

The Camfield

What better way to soak up the game day atmosphere than being right outside the stadium? The Camfield has got everything you need for a killer Grand Final day, 6 bars, a microbrewery, beer garden, container bar and a restaurant so there’s no way you’ll be hungry or thirsty. They aren’t taking bookings so get down early to secure your spot in front of their big screen, grab something to eat and a few pints and settle in for the day. Listen to the roar of the crowd from just a few metres away. Enjoy live entertainment from the Ghost Busters and later on DJ Buda and DJ Elise.

Toyota AFL Grand Final Live Site in the Northbridge Piazza

Want something a bit more chilled? The City of Perth is hosting the Toyota AFL Grand Final Live Site at the Northbridge Piazza. The City will be closing some of James and Lake Street for alfresco dining so there is more room for activities! It’s a free and family friendly event with children’s activities, face painting, roving entertainment and amenities. The festivities start at 4pm and continue into the night.

The Wembley

The Wembley has something for everyone, general admission is free, and anyone can enjoy watching the final on one of their 12 screens around the venue. If you something a bit more boujee, you can get the VIP package which includes 3 hours of free-flowing drinks and canapés from 4.45-7.45pm

Market Grounds

Market Grounds will be taking over Kings Square for the Grand Final with 6 screens to watch the game, multiple bars and prizes up for grabs. They also have a seriously good food and drinks package on offer just for the day. It includes bottomless beers, ciders, aperol spritz, selected wine and an epic food platter with beef sliders, pork sausage rolls, pumpkin arancini, buffalo chicken wings PLUS more for only $89 per person!!! Fill yourself with delicious food and drinks and then party on into the night with The Night Market after party.

The Newport Hotel

The Newport will be playing the Grand Final live and loud on their big screens. They open from 12pm so get down any time before happy hour @ 5pm so that you can make the most of their seriously good fishbowl cocktails as the game starts. Kick on after the game with Kombi Klub.

The Lookout

This one is for the Northies- The Lookout is not just for the Sunday sesh! Catch the footy Grand Final live on one of their many screens. Doors open at 11am so head down, grab a bite to eat, play a quick game of bowling to warm up and get ready for a good night. Sling back a few $6 pints and $5 vino’s during the game (Happy Hour is from 5-6pm) and celebrate after the game with a boogie on the d-floor.

The Generous Squire

Rather be in the city? Well the Generous Squire has a great siren-to-siren package that will tick all the boxes. $59 per person, bottomless raft beer, tap cider, tropical long island ice tea cocktails, select wines & bubbles from bounce down to finish.
