The sizzling return of the hotter months means the warm welcoming back of the iconic Scarborough Sunset Markets, and this summer season is looking to be their biggest one yet.
Kicking off this Thursday (November 4) and blazing through until April 28, expect Thursday nights jam packed with incredible live music, finger-licking feeds, artisan retail gems, beachside performances and exciting new surprises every week. Plus, those jaw dropping instagrammable Scarborough sunsets.
Launch To Summer Party
The Scarborough Sunset Market crew are throwing a huge back to summer launch party to welcome in an epic season. Dancehall crew High Drive will be taking over the Amphitheatre from 5PM, spinning the hottest Afro and Reggaeton beats. Get down early, head over to the bar for a drink and settle in to see DJ legends Aslan, Mowgli, Nafta and Sepsaay ignite the stage. Authentic Brazilian food truck Rio 40 are also launching a brand-spanking new food truck and to celebrate will have the food area buzzing with heaps of Brazilian performances, music and all those South American party vibes!

Mocktail Bar on the Beach Thanks to Hippie Kombucha
A mocktail bar right on the sand you say? Sign. Us. Up.
Teaming up with the mixology masters at Hippie Kombucha in a first ever for Scarborough Beach – the Thursday night markets now have a brand spankin new mocktail bar pouring an array of delicious fruity, low sugar and no-alc concoctions alongside their gorgeous beach lounge under festoon lights.
Wander down to the beach, stroll across the sand and get your hands on these thirst-quenching mocktails from Strawberry Fields; cold pressed strawberry, lemon, apples, cranberry and rose Kombucha, Green Lights; cold pressed apple, kale, lemon, spirulina, ginger and lime Kombucha to Tropical Sunset; Cold Pressed pineapple, mango, passionfruit, orange, apple and mango Kombucha. A truly refreshing Summer is coming right up.
Along with mocktails on the sand will be healthy probiotic soda (no sugar), cold pressed juices and the Hippie Kombucha range.
With the Amphitheatre beats filling the air, bathing in those glorious summer arvo rays, this is your weekly island vibes escape right here in Scarborough.

Thursday nights have never looked quite so delicious, with over 50 foodies coming together to serve up Perth’s largest selection of cuisines that will take your taste buds on a journey around the world. The Scarborough Sunset Markets crew are switching things up this year, adding brand new flavours into the mix to really spice things up; meat galore to satisfy those carnivores from SMOKR BBQ, homemade Dutch Strooperwafels from Treacle Treat, bubble tea fun from Honey Creme or sustainably sourced, healthy treats from Clean Tasty Dirty that will have you feeling a million bucks! Don’t fret, your usual favourites will still be there, like perfectly soft gnocchi clouds from Gnocchi Gnocchi Boys that just MELT in the mouth.
You’ll really want to treat yo-self with all the delicious desserts on offer at this year’s markets; vegan ice cream from fan favourites Roho Bure, giant loaded cookies from Cookie Loaded and traditional Indian ice cream from Kulfilicious. Plus, an abundance of fried ice-cream, French crepes and pastries, Greek donuts, waffles, raw treats, a giant bus filled with lollies, bouquets of fairy floss, fluffy souffle pancakes and everything in between. We’ve also got heaps of delicious options for our vegan, vego and gluten free friends – like the plant based Latin American street food from Latina, warm vegan donuts, handcrafted gelato, gluten free crepes and brownies, loaded hot potatoes and cracking creme brulee!

Once again the Scarborough Skate Bowl will come alive on Thursday nights with bangin beats from resident bad-ass skate gal herself, DJ Bamm B. Thursdays are the only time you can shred it in the bowl with live DJ tunes, so grab ya boards and drop in NOW.
Amphitheatre Beats
Local legend DJ Shann is bringing the summer vibes with extra special friends across the season. Ranging from hilarious freestyle rap comedy, acoustic vocals, beautiful violin and incredible didgeridoo – each week has been carefully curated, guaranteed to keep energy high across the season. Caribbean dream DJ Flex is back in the Clocktower for another sizzling season loaded with those funky beats.
Private Dining
The ultimate way to gather the gang for an afternoon of market fun with zero hassle! For just $55 per person, you’ll be treated to no hassle parking at the Rendezvous Hotel, a gorgeous long table dining area fit out with boho seating and small candles, a private pay-as-you-go bar and a massive selection of the eats and treats on offer at the markets. The private area is perfectly set up to catch that breath-taking Scarborough sunset, and close enough to catch the DJ tunes in the Amphitheatre. War on Waste
The Scarborough Sunset Markets take the war on waste very seriously, and in the last two years have reduced their landfill from 100% to just 10%! Their epic team of Waste Warriors volunteer their time, ensuring that all rubbish is sorted into compost, Containers for Change, recycling and landfill, washing cups to be reused at the bar, spreading that sustainability message and selling Eat Kits. Patrons are massively encouraged to BYO their own plates, cutlery, cups and bags from home to enjoy market meals and take home your goods.
Indian Ocean Hotel Bar
A Summer sunset wouldn’t be complete without a cold bev in hand, and thanks to the legends at the Indian Ocean Hotel, you’ll be able to enjoy just that. Sitting pretty on the top grassy deck, stroll in, order a craft beer or premium glass of vino, sit back in the beautiful deck chairs and take in that stunning view.

The skies will be painted with those giant iconic Scarborough Sunset Markets kites, the beach will be littered with giant wooden games and the awesome Scarborough Sunset Market fire twirlers will be putting on jaw dropping performances on the sand.
