Doubleview’s newest addition opens on 3rd October with free coffee and activities all morning!
Folk & Merchant is Perth’s newest coastal café and vibrant retail space and the opening day will be filled with complimentary treats for the community, and everyone is invited to come along. Free coffee all morning, a free yoga class, live acoustic music and kids’ nature play activities will be part of the celebrations, creating a relaxed family-friendly vibe.
Folk & Merchant are supporting small local businesses with a strong sustainable and eco-friendly ethos. The café will be serving a custom blend coffee created by Kaltiva Coffee Roasters, aptly named ‘Community Blend’, along with fresh juices, smoothies, kombucha and wholesome food. The retail space will be fully stocked with local boutique brands including Laura’s own children’s label Lucie June, design by fern dried flowers, handmade ceramics by rae collected, and a variety of cactus silk cushions and throws by Moroccan Textile Co.
The opening day on Sunday 3rd October will run from 7am to 12pm and will give the community a taste of what Folk & Merchant is all about… specialty coffee, wholesome food, community activities and overall good vibes:
The full food menu won’t be available on Sunday 3rd October but there will be some free platters of tasters including local artisanal sour dough by Bread Bros, paired with home-made relishes and jams by Oohlala Preserves. More substantial snacks and counter food will be available to purchase. The full food menu will be available on Monday 4th October.
The free community vinyasa yoga class is suitable for all levels of experience. Spaces are limited, therefore pre-book your spot online via WildFlower Yoga Collective’s website: www.wildfloweryogacollective.net. Some yoga mats will be provided, if you have your own, please bring it along.
