Fringe Festival Perth

Fringe World Festival kicks off this weekend and we’re super lucky to be able to experience the incredible array of entertainment on offer. There’s something for everyone at fringe world; from comedy, music and musicals, circus and much more, plus ticket prices are great value so you can enjoy multiple shows in one night out!  Nyumbi | Yagan Square

Immerse yourself in Noongar dance and music as Aboriginal performers share stories of the world’s oldest living culture. Held right in the heart of Perth City, head to Yagan Square amphitheatre every Friday evening and experience a traditional smoking ceremony followed by dance from aboriginal performers.

 

SATURDAY 16TH JANUARY

Lucid Dreaming Body Work | The Sewing Room

It’s time to get that body moving, deep into the night and all the way through ‘til the AM. A carefully curated line-up of some of Perth’s finest tune selectors will be behind the decks, spinning techno, house, deep & hypnotic techno through to electro and breaks. Be sure to bring your best vibes and prepare to dance your way through Saturday night at The Sewing Room.

 Wine Lunch Series | The Camfield

Hosted by 3 winemakers and showcasing our West Aussie producers, prepare your tastebuds for a unique brunch experience at The Camfield this Saturday. Kicking off at 11:30am, you’ll enjoy canapes, entrée, main, sides AND dessert while Rockcliffe, Millbrook and Smithbrook Wines share an insight into the processes they use to master their amazing WA wines.

 Oochie Koochie | Barbes Perth

Oochie Koochie returns to Barbes Perth this Saturday for a night of music, dancing and good vibes. Round up the troops and head down for some two-steppin’, late night fun. Door sales only and doors open at 6pm. If you feel like dancing through ‘til the AM then Oochie Koochie is the place to be, they’re partying until 5am!

 Zoo Up Late | Perth Zoo

Your chance to see exotic animals during twilight, Perth Zoo is staying up late every Saturday for the month of January. Grab a bite to eat at the food trucks, pack a picnic or BYO food and drinks! Round up your mates or a special date and explore the zoo grounds ‘til 7:30pm.

 

SUNDAY 17TH JANUARY

Club Tropicana | Indian Ocean Hotel

A Sunday well-spent brings a week of content and there’s no better way to spend your Sunday than with sun-drenched, pool party vibes. Presented by Jack Rabbit Slims, Club Tropicana is your poolside paradise, a place to forget about the Monday hangover-for now… Grab your bathers and party from 3pm at the Indian Ocean Hotel.

 Bao Festival | Yanchep Surf Life Saving Club

If you love a Bao then this one’s for you! Eight of Perth’s finest Bao food trucks will be serving up their very best buns this Sunday in a battle to determine who has the VERY best Bao. There’ll be a judging panel to sample each bao and ultimately determine the Judges Award. You can finish off your day with a little sweetness with two dessert trucks too! Stay entertained with live music and fun for all.

 Coopers Live, Loud & Local ft. Crooked Colours | Hotel Rottnest

Book your ferry or jump on your boat and head on over to Rotto to spend your Sunday listening to the sweet electro sounds of Perth’s very own, Crooked Colours.
